 OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF ACTOR JO HYUNJAE ON THE PASSING AWAY OF HIS BELOVED FATHER

Jo Hyun-Jae’s father passed away on October 22 (today) at 8 p.m.
The deceased suffered from a chronic illness for many years.
JHJ’s grief is said to be “immeasurable”.
The family plans to hold a quiet funeral on October 24 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Jo Hyunjae's father passed away today(on October 22).
I wish to express my condolences on his fathers's deatth.
May he rest in peace.
His funeral will be held quietly
in accordance with wishes of the bereaved family.

To take care of father, JHJ stops all activities after discharge
Actor Jo Hyun-Jae lost his father on October 22. His fans all grieve with him.
A source close to JHJ revealed over the phone to Newsen on October 23: “JHJ’s father Jo Sung-Ho departed this world around 8 p.m. on October 22.” He went on: “The deceased suffered from a chronic illness. We have no more comments.” We can feel the pain and suffering in the brief conversation.
Furthermore, a JHJ associate told Newsen: “After his discharge JHJ did not engage in any particular entertainment activities or take on any work schedule, but just spent all his time looking after his father.” And: “He put aside his comeback.” From this we can see his filial piety.
After his Japan fan meetings in Osaka and Tokyo in August, JHJ stopped all his activities.
JHJ’s father’s funeral has been arranged for October 24 from Seoul’s St. Mary Hospital at Banpo-dong.

His father was proud of JHJ serving in the military
Jo Hyun-Jae’s father, the late Jo Sung-Ho who passed away on October 22, was a brave Marine who fought in the Vietnam War. He was very proud of his son fulfilling his military duties as a soldier in the army.
A JHJ associate said on October 23: “JHJ’s father Jo Sung-Ho was a Marine, a veteran of the Vietnam War who suffered from the after-effects of Agent Orange. He has been very sick for the last five years, and on October 22 his condition suddenly deteriorated and he died.”
He also revealed: “When JHJ was in the army, he felt very bad because he could not spend more time with his father.” and “During his lifetime, the deceased was very proud of his son serving in the military as an army dog soldier.”
The deceased is reposing in St. Mary’s Hospital, Room 11, and the funeral will be held on October 24. Many of JHJ’s actor friends, as well as other people in the entertainment industy, have come to pay their last respects to the deceased.

Actor Jo Hyun-Jae is mourning the loss of his father.
JHJ’s father, the late Jo Sung-Ho, died on October 22 from a chronic illness. The deceased is reposing in Seoul’s St. Mary Hospital in Banpo-dong.
JHJ tried his best to take care of his father, but in the end death won out.

Actor JHJ: Tears in memory of father
Actor Jo Hyun-Jae is bereaved of his father on October 22.
JHJ’s father Jo Sung-Ho died on October 22 of a long-standing chronic illness.
It is reported that when his father’s illness took a turn for the worse, JHJ was by his bedside doing all he could. When his father was near death, JHJ was overwhelmed with grief.
The deceased is reposing in Banpo-dong’s St. Mary Hospital and the funeral is set for October 24.
On another note, after his discharge in June, JHJ has been in discussions to choose his comeback project.
